2/25/2020 Reflection

This week in class, I learned about the rule of thirds. This means that your object is not the direct center, it is placed in a intersection and over to the left or right. This rule allows photos to be more pleasing. I took 25 photos using this rule and edited my best 3 on Photoshop.

What makes my photographs successful are the colors in the photo. In addition, finding a good angle and light source help. When the picture is not discolored or taken from a bad angle, it becomes more appealing to the eye. This makes more people want to look at it, and it becomes sucessful.

3/5/2020 Reflection

This week, I struggled with forced perspective. I kept looking at examples, but I could not figure out how to take the images well. Every time I did it, something would become blurry. This assignment was hard.

This week, my goal was to learn to take photographs in manual mode. This means I had to figure out the settings, it was not automatic. In the beginning, it was hard. However, I studied and was able to understand how the camera works. The assignment was able to be finished.

This week I learned about rules of composition. All of these are different, however each rule as the same goal. They all help make the photo more interesting and pleasing to the eye. For example, leading lines in having something long that the viewer can follow, and then another subject at the end of something long.
